FRP Addresses Corrosion In Boat Ramp Facilty

Treadwell’s ArchitEX™ FRP Structural Profiles and EX-Series® GratEX® FRP Grating provided a comprehensive Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) solution for the boat ramp, covering all structural requirements. Treadwell’s technical team compiled a complete bill of materials and design drawings in-house, while prefabrication was carried out internally by the operations team. 

With the inherent lightweight properties of FRP, the installation team was able to handle materials with ease, even in the confined work area, effectively addressing manoeuvrability concerns. 

Treadwell FRP products have the colour pigments fully integrated, and can be customised to meet RAL colour requirements. Additionally, integrated UV inhibitors enhance durability and resistance to fading. This ensures long-lasting protection, allowing the FRP structure to maintain its integrity and appearance for years to come.
