Full FRP ACCESS SYSTEMS for an excavated tank reservoir

Corrosion is a major concern for submerged structures, especially in environments with prolonged water exposure. This access staircase leading to a reservoir within a potable water treatment plant, is periodically submerged for extended periods. Traditional materials were not a viable option for this application. To ensure structural longevity, a specially formulated resin system was developed for the FRP components used in this project. Additionally, the staircase was designed and engineered to comply with Australian Standard 1657.
